We are a family run electrical contractors established in 1955 by Mr R P Dowsland at Wesley Court as an electrical contractors and electrical shop. Mike Hartley joined the firm in 1976 as an electrician, When Mr Dowsland retired in 1988 Mr Hartley took over the firm. The business still offers the same values as it always has, quality, customer care and expertise. These qualities have made Dowslands a well respected member of the community.

We carry out all types of electrical work for
DOMESTIC, COMMERCIAL & LIGHT INDUSTRIAL premises.

We are approved members of the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA). All our work is Guaranteed. We are registered and approved Elecsa Part P Scheme. (From Jan 06 all new installation work in domestic properties has to be registered through part P and certified by an approved contractor such as ourselves)
